I attempted to wemege nagios
| Code: | root@codd sysweb # emerge -p nagios
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:
Calculating dependencies |
emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy ">=qstat- |
Now that is explicable, qstat is obviously in a part of the portage tree listed in my rsync_excludes file
| Code: | root@codd sysweb # cat /etc/portage/rsync_excludes
# SLAIS-sysweb@********* 2003-04-25
# CODD.***************
# rsync_excludes for Gentoo 1.4_rc4

Modifying rsynce_excludes would obviously solve the problem, but looking through the Package Listing I find qstat in app-games/qstat. Now app-games is precisely the category of ebuild I want to keep off my system so is there an alternative?
Could I, for instance, create an rsync_includes file to just allow qstat as an exception? Or, should qstat really be in app-games? _________________ --
