Hi, a friend of mine have made a graphic for himself. I've asked him to make some adjustments and voila - new gentoo wallpaper has born

It's uhm...unrelated to Gentoo in any way...besides the slight resemblance of the yellow thing to the Gentoo 'G'

hi there,

so i sat down and created a wallpaper since i think there cant be enough good wallpapers for gentoo

hope someone likes/uses it. im always open for suggestions. (you could start by telling me the name of the font on the gentoo website's logo)

I like it. On that subject, can't anybody fix the wallpapers on gentoo.org? Some of them say they're 1280x1024 while they're 1280x960.

im sorry, but 1280x1024 is the native resolution (the logo is bitmap not vector since i dont know how to open stupid svg files). scaling up would mean loosing quality, so you might as well do it yourself with your background-setting-utility

If you want to make SVG images, try Inkscape. It's in Portage and it's pretty good.
