There dosnt appear to be a flag with emerge to display all packages depending on x package. I would find this helpful when trying to clean the system of unnecessary packages after removing several packages.
any one else ? |

Sounds good to me. If not autoremove packages, at least some accounting system that would let me know which package depends on other packages.
In the end it would allow for unneeded packages to be removed... |

Are you trying to leave FreeBSD when Gentoo Linux's portage arrived to have good as or better than FreeBSD's ports? ;)
BTW: I used to live in Olathe, KS... Visited to Lawrence pretty often for KU and others.. :) |

Reverse dependency tracking has always been the Achilles' heel, and has also been on the drawing board for quite some time. This is also one of those Real Soon Now (TM) things. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |
