Just in case anyone missed this, I thought I would share.

As a dual-booter, I've been waiting for this for a long time. Although 64bit support would be nice, I won't look a gift horse in the mouth.

I'm nto a dual booter, but this is still cool. I'm guessing this "driver" sits in userspace? It will be cool if/when this gets integrated into the standard linux tools (like mount) to provide better ntfs access.

Since WinFS is nowhere to be seen, this driver will probably see a lot of life.

WinFS was going to sit ontop of NTFS, so this would sitll be useful even if WinFS came out.

finally! :D
This is one of the things that will make a switch for some windows user, who have a lot of data on a NTFS partition, easier.

I just gave it a try, it seems working very well.
BTW, you need to have >=sys-fs/fuse-2.5.0 installed.

that could come in handy on my girlfriend's computer... then again, she's hardly ever using windows anymore, could be time to put partition magic 8 to good use for one last time :D

sys-fs/ntfs3g ebuild.

Code:
Couldn't mount device '/dev/hdb1': Operation not supported
Windows did not shut down properly.  Try to mount volume in windows, shut down and try again.
Mount failed.

Guess I will have to reboot to find it out if it works...

get the GParted Live CD... it's better than partition magic 8 and it's free.
