Hi,

what could it mean? how can it be fixed? Searching gives no results..

I guess gentoolkit needs fixing. Have you tried bugzilla?

I have the same problem no matter what the argument to equery depends is.

I had the same problem, remerging gentoolkit did help.

The only reason I could think of is the update of Python 2.3 to 2.4.
