Where is everything?

Problems with emerge or ebuilds? Have a basic programming question about C, PHP, Perl, BASH or something else?

I just wondered where all the things that were in portage are, and why some new things doesn't show up.
Right now i can't remember so many things i miss but at least i miss these two:
swat

THANKS

To merge a masked package you can use ACCEPT_KEYWORDS.
In your case:

Code: Select all

ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge superkaramba
or call emerge with the full path of the ebuild:

Code: Select all

emerge /usr/portage/x11-misc/superkaramba/superkaramba-0.21.ebuild

First:
Thanks paidhi!

And then:
Why are packages masked?

because they are not considered "stable enough" to be part of stable, i.e. they might break something, clash with other packages in stable or blah blah blah.
