Think, if current-gen AMD Cpu's beat the Conroe in clock-per-clock performance think of what the 65nm revisions of the AM2 will do, and the Socket F... K8L, etc.
It seems credible, but who knows. I'm not an AMD fanboy, by the way. |

| Unless, Conroe parts are out in the wild for everyone to experiment, I would not comment on it. However, the hype sorrounding conroe seems to be real. It is without any doubt a significant improvement in performance clock for clock.AMD though has reverse hyperthreading to gain some ground. |
