I don't think they care about one having two accounts, redseal was definitely a regular's account and everyone loved him. Even the mods. However if it really is no longer kosher, curtis119 please shut down my Albert_Alligator account. I've used it to troll for a while now (through an anonymous proxy), but now feel guilty enough to come clean. So long Albert, we'll miss you.

dialup is every time you log on (although there is a possibility of getting the same one bc it'll still be on the subnet if no one else is using it).
with broadband it depends on the isp. i've had them last anywhere from a day to a month. one of my friends (with a diff isp) had the same ip for almost a year.
with some isps, it changes every time your power goes out or the link dies (bc they dont link your mac address on your modem to a specific ip). |

I was laughing so hard I forgot about the other stuff in papals post.
Redseal is not a troll account, it is a legitimate account. We don't allow second accounts and we don't make exceptions.
Jedsen was temporarily banned and he made up the second account, neoconsoemthing_or_other, to sneak back in. He was banned twice before.
Bypassing a ban by creating a new account is grounds for permanent banning and neocon wasn't the only account he created to sneak back in.
So, three bans and three secretive accounts made up to bypass those bans.
Bye bye jedsen.

Yeah those Japanese Americans and Japanese interred in the concentration camps in California didn't really need to have their privacy monitored. They probably had a hard time communicating with the outside world. There were significant restrictions placed upon people in America during WW2. Heck, there were even some Germans who came ashore on the east coast nonuniformed and eventually found themselves hanged for it. But I digress.

One quick point, and then I'll leave (right/left arguments don't appeal to me).
Where exactly is this stranglehold? There are so many different forms of media, which means that everyone has their very own outlet, if they want it. Democrats can listen to Public Radio or read the New York Times or watch CNN. Conservatives can listen to Talk Radio or read the Wall Street Journal or watch Fox News.
Both sides are screaming media bias, but to that, I say bullocks. Just like the arms race, whenever one side gets worried about a gap, they never hesitate to fill it. |

I think I speak for all the normal conservative types when I say this is a bit nutty. The only bias the news media has is a bias for Blood, reguardless of political ideology.
