PROBLEMS INSTALLING GENTOO (MAKE.PROFILE)

After I type in env-update i get this:

# chroot /mnt/gentoo /bin/bash
# env-update
>>>Note: /etc/make.profile isn't available; an 'emerge sync' will probably fix this.
Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
# source /etc/profile

when i try emerge sync it doesnt fix it either, i try to continue with "emerge rsync" then it will give me the same error as above

This is nothing to worry about... You can safely ignore this message and go on following the install guide...

Well it works now, for some reason it didnt work the last time I tried it... thanks for the help.
