Hi all. Im a new gentoo user so i thought it should be nice to stop by and say hi. Ive been running Debian testing/unstable for a while (a few years by now and still run it on my panasonic cf-m32 laptop). Last week i decided to give gentoo a try on my desktop, and lemme tell you im very satisfied with the result. Gentoo has a nice phylosophy of doing things and is even more flexible than debian can be. Im not a fan of GUI stuff (GTK/QT) so i try to keep my system clean of those, however i know im gonna need some GTK apps in a near future.
Anyway, congrats to gentoo-devs and all the community, keep up the good work. |
