Bonjour à tous,
J'ai acquis une carte wireless PCI de TrendNet, la TW-443PI.
Je souhaite l'installer sur une machine dotée d'un 805 D (pentium D, donc). Sur cette machine tourne gentoo x86_64.
Mon gros problème est que cette procédure n'abouti à rien : http://acx100.sourceforge.net/wiki/Distribution_list/Gentoo
et que l'utilisation de ndiswrapper semble exclue sur les architectures 64bits.
Quelqu'un parmis vous aurait-il déjà été confronté à ce problème, ou aurait une solution à me proposer?

j'ai regardé l'ebuild il a pas l'air de demander grand chose en dépendance. Tu as bien dans ta conf de kernel le support du 32 bit? (les options: CONFIG_IA32_EMULATION CONFIG_IA32_AOUT)
et les lib emul-x86 ?
je suis pas sûr que ça soit nécessaire, mais bon
ps tu es sûr que c'est le bon driver?
parce que ta carte a pas l'air d'être dans la device list : http://acx100.sourceforge.net/wiki/Device_list ni dans http://acx100.sourceforge.net/matrix.html

Non, je ne suis pas sûr que ce soit le bon driver, mais :
-la TEW-423PI est dans la device list, et la 443 est juste un peu plus puissante (108Mbps au lieu de 54Mbps) que la 423, le reste est identique
-c'est le seul driver que j'ai trouvé  et je suis ouvert à toute alternative
Oui, j'ai CONFIG_IA32_EMULATION CONFIG_IA32_AOUT set dans le kernel, et j'ai également l'ebuild emul-linux-x86-xlibs installé.
Rha, ce m'ennuie vraiment, j'espère que je n'ai pas clacké 70CHF la dedans =(

Parfait génial, tout est nickel et c'est excellent. Un grand merci!
Une fois de plus j'ai appris plein de choses, moi qui n'avait touché au wifi et ignorait l'existence de madwifi et autre acx!
