Is anyone else experiencing this? In previous installs of gentoo video thumbnailing in nautilus worked pretty well. I would say maybe 1 in 10 videos didnt thumbnail and just had a generic video icon. Now, it is exactly the opposite. 1 in 10 DOES thumbnail and the rest have generic icons. Is there something I am missing? |

I don't know if its the samething but I had a similar problem with KDE and found an obscure setting that would create a thumbnail depending on the size of the file ( <=100k ) I set it higher and now everything is thumbnailed! YMMV

Not the same. There is a setting like that in Nautilus too but I have it setup to 1GB and still nothing. Thanks for the response tho. |
