I tried to emerge mono but there wasn't any mono ebuild. Is it really true, hasn't anybody ebuilded mono yet??

OK...since I've been using gentoo in 4 days now, I'm not too familiar with the portage system so I'm not planning to ebuild mono. Is there anybody else who can do this?
