|
|
Okay, I used the portage system to install PHP. Everything was fine and dandy for a couple of months. However, I now need use of the mail() function in PHP, and apparently the default settings when "emerging" PHP do not include this option.
My question is simply this : How can I rebuild PHP with support for the mail() function without much fuss?
I have everything configured just how I want it, and I don't want this to make my webserver explode |

AFAIK mail function is built by default, no need to pass anything to configure.
Try to use mail() function and see what you get. Alternatively you can use one of many SMTP classes for php and send mail through them (this is good in case you don't have smtp server installed in your machine). _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd |
