problems with bibus

I have a few problems with bibusm namely I can start bibus 1.0.0 however I can neither add a reference nor connect with open office 2.0.0

After starting bibusStart.py I get messege in console:

UserWarning: wxPython/wxWidgets release number mismatch

I have GNU Linux gentoo with wxpython-2.6.1.0, wxGTK-2.6.2 installed. The situation is even worse when both wxpython and wxGTK are of 2.6.1 version because in such a case it is impossible to start bibus.

The shortcut cannot be added in the Preferences/Shortcuts tab. The following message is given in the console:

Attempting to connect with openoffice either by pipe connection or TCP (port 8100) casuses the error:

An unknown error occured (URP_Bridge : disposed)

I got this working finally! I'm using bibus-1.1.1, python2.4, wxPython2.6.1, and wxGTK2.6.2-r1. I had to compile python with the USE flag "ucs2" and wxPython with "unicode". Now it works. I still get the version mismatch though when I start it up.
