but when i start alsa i have this error

Have you smp in the kernel active?
Remove it and build the kernel new, but one very important note, try it first with a bootdisk.
Because:
I have also a es1688 isa audio card, which don't work, due to some problems I compiled a wrong kernel so I can't tell you if I'm right. Can't boot at the moment. And I have no boot disk :-(

Forget my last Tip, does not work also :-(, I've installed the old oss kernel internal driver. Works very well.

I think it's cheaper to investigate in a new PCI soundcard then spend more time to bring this old ISA card to run.
