Don't think I've noticed any instability problems with Gentoo. Mind you I don't stress the system much.

XFS still seems to have some stability problems. My system has to be rebooted every day, due to a cron'd backup that somehow manages to corrupt the filesystem somehow. I can't figure out how yet. Gonna watch it tonight.

If I have a system crash, it's due to my hardware gfx card & athlon cpu ... not realy gentoo's fault :P

My server is very stable, but my desktop is oke.

My latop is still running w2k but will be dualbooting i a short while. :lol:

I use XFS for several months, no problems here :)

I have yet to have a crash that was gentoo specific, the couple I have had were because of xfree not playing nice.
