witam, mam problem ze sterownikami ati na radku 9550, pare dni temu postanowilme uruchomic jakas gre na linuxie,przydalo by sie wiec wsparcie 3D. od tych paru dni jestem w kropce,dlatego prosze o pomoc mimo iz ten temat sterownikow ati byl poruszany wielokrotnie. postepowalme zgodnie z http://odin.prohosting.com/wedge01/gentoo-radeon-faq.html oraz oczywiscie http://www.gentoo.org/doc/pl/ati-faq.xml mimo wielu zabiegow ciagle dostaje

emerge x11-drivers/ati-drivers x11-apps/ati-drivers-extra && modules-update
wg mnie po prostu po upgrade-dzie kernela nie skompilowałeś znowu sterowników, ale nie zrobiłeś modules-update

jak nie - to daj xorg.conf, i wynik lsmod

spróbuj starszy kernel albo coś z vanilla-sources...
mozesz tez spróbowac ze starszymi sterami.

EDIT: a tak w ogóle to proponuje sprzedac radka 9550 i kupic lepszego i tańszego Geforce Ti4200/4800 , ja tak zrobiłem jak mialem stacjonarną maszyne i wydajność jest nieporównywala (nawet w windowsie) Titanium ROX :) Nvidia robi dobre stery do linucha.
Może na allegro będzie się ktoś chciał wymienic z Tobą.
