| I know video=vesa works... but in the spirit of linux i would like to get the kernel support for nvidia fb working. |

| i've had the same problem about not getting the rivafb working, only the vesa drivers were doing some weird stuff too. I passed the same kernel params as my 2.4.x kernels, but the 2.5.x ones that I build just don't like to want to run in 1600x1200. |

the kernel seems to lack documentation for the riva fb driver... can't find it anywhere... i'm using 2.5.68... maybe it's elsewhere (in an older release)?
I think i got fb working... i mean.. there is a fb0 dev...... but how do i change the resolution for my console with rivafb?!?!?
this is so frustrating... but it's all good... |
