anyone has any idea's on how to tweak this baby to the max??
right now running the hdparm -c1 -d1 -u1 -k1 -m16 on it (laptop doesnt run higher than udma2)

MK4019GAX (HDD2171)
Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. (TAIS), Storage Device Division introduces the MK4019GAX 2.5-inch 40GB Hard Disk Drive. Well I have the exact same hardrive and use the following line in my /etc/conf.d/local.start file:
/sbin/hdparm -qa16qc1qd1qm16qS240qu1 /dev/ide/hd/*u? &> /dev/null
You may want to strip the S option that spins down the drive. |

There is a special configuration file to declare the hdparm parameters. Is the /etc/conf.d/hdparm |
