[solved] Can't costumize any buttons in opera since 7.54

Hi!
I configured the buttons in Opera 7.54 (for the mail menu, and for the normal functions, like "back" and "fullscreen"). When i switched to 8.x, i noticed, my customization in the mail screen was gone. The rest stayed the same. Unluckiely, i can't add new buttons anywhere! And i defenitely want more buttons in the mail menu then there are by default! This stayed for three 8.x versions now...
I even have a legal license now (so there is more space to fill with buttons ), but that does not improve this situation. Searching at google and the forum leaves me puzzled, since nobody else has seems to have this problem.

Any guesses?

PS: I even renamed the opera directory so it could install a new one, but no improvement, if i remember right. (it was laaaate.... but if it had worked, I surely had merged both dirs...)

EDIT: Finally, the windows way of bugfixing helped: Waiting till a new version was out...
In my case, all is fine with opera version 8.51
