ATI 8.16.20

[Hell-Razor]

I know these ati drivers are masked by ~* or something like that. But I emerged them and notised a bug where it says my VIA chipset is not supported. It sees everything and in the documents it SAYS its supported but i keep on getting an error. Some gentoo guy (dont remember his name, but he is an op in the Gentoo irc chan and his name starts with a K) said he would write me a patch to get it to accept my ID, but after he said that I havent heard anything back from him.

Just wondering if anybody has figured out how to fix this (bug?) and if so what do I have to do.
