Hi,
I'm trying to emerge quanta for hours ... it just doesn't work
uname -a output:
Code: | inux elvis 2.4.18 #5 SMP Tue Feb 25 16:42:43 CET 2003 sparc64 sun4u TI UltraSpar c IIe GNU/Linux |
this is what I've done:
and this is the errormessage I get all the time:
Code: | checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 2.2.2) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
!!! ERROR: app-editors/quanta-2.0.1 failed.
!!! Function kde_src_compile, Line -2779, Exitcode 1
!!! died running ./configure, kde_src_compile:configure
|
I've read the forums but couldn't find anything useful.
Maybe you can help me?
Greetings,
Abt |

I just did a pretend emerge to see which packages would be installed. I saw it needed to update QT to version 3.1.2 (current version is 3.1.0-r3). The version of Quanta it will build is 3.1.1. Try and energe rsync to update your portage tree then try re-emerging Quanta.[/quote] |

Can you post the output of "emerge -p quanta"? I'm not sure where the problem is at right now. I made sure and I don't have ACCEPT_KEYWORD enabled so I know I'm not getting testing/unstable packages.
