the install docs say to "edit the /etc/conf.d/net script to get your neteork configured for your first boot."
ok. but i'm unsure as to what i need to edit. my internal network is on 192.168.1.x. do i merely reflect that in the iface line? and what about dhcp? i am running a dhcp server on another linuxbox(redhat so i didn't have the pleasure of actually learning how to do this yet). just a little pointer would be helpful.

If you're running DHCP, then just tell it to use DHCP and you should be set (assuming DHCP works right, of course ). |

In conf.d uncomment the line:
or add a similar line for the interface you want a DHCP assigned address on...
