hello,
I used a philips webcam with kernel 2.4.x , with the kernel's driver( pwc.o),
and another module called pwcx.o that I downloaded from the web . now I switched to 2.5 , pwc is ok, but I didn t find sources for pwcx , so I'm unable to build it for 2.5, is there a way to make the 2.4 binary works on my new system ? does someone know where I can find the sources ?
thanks. _________________ every step aim at glory. |

The problem with pwcx is that it contains licensed parts from philips. It's not in the kernel because philips won't opensource that part of the driver. The rest should work fine though. |
