i dont know how off topic this is, but could a forum be added just for X problems? its becoming hard to find X errors since they seem to become spread out across several forums.
just a suggestion, see what everyone thinks, and i know, someone needs to moderate it, etc... |

| well i figured that there were less versions of X than desktop apps. does phpBB support sub forums? then they could just put an X forum in the desktop forum, and add other mini forums for other things that come up a lot. |

I would rather prefer to have a special "X" Problem Forum since X-Problems are so tedious.
I need 10 times more time to find and correct an X-Problem than to fix a normal linux/Unix Error.
An beside that : this is one of the reasons, why many people use distributions like Red Hat, Suse, etc.: with that distributions, all-in-one, X-Problems are not so often as with "self-tailored" System like Gentoo, where someone can easyli install a linux-kernel, but has ofter afterwords 10 times mor problems with the fixing oft follow-up Errors.

Personally I'm fine with X problems in DE, Multimedia, P&P and other forums. Notice you cannot search for the term "X" because it is too short.
The current stable version of phpBB does not support subforums, but the next major version (which might be released within the next five years) is said to support them.
Moved from Desktop Environments to Gentoo Forums Feedback. |

so if we patiently wait for the next version of phpBB to come out, X should be errorless? sounds like a good deal to me... |

Have you tried searching for xorg? _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.
