Hi guys,
when trying to upgrade my portage tree I get an error about virtual/linux-sources missing, even though I have both 2xgentoo-sources and 1xwolk-sources installed.
c3po root # emerge -u world -p
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:
Calculating world dependencies -
!!! all ebuilds that could satisfy "virtual/linux-sources" have been masked.
!!! (dependency required by "sys-apps/lvm-user-1.0.7" [ebuild])
!!! Problem with ebuild sys-apps/lvm-user-1.0.7
!!! Possibly a DEPEND/*DEPEND problem.
!!! Depgraph creation failed.
c3po root # epm -qa | grep sourc
gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r2
gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r1
wolk-sources-4.0_rc4
c3po root # _________________ Best regards,

Do you have a line looking something like this in /var/cache/edb/virtuals:
Code: | virtual/linux-sources sys-kernel/gentoo-sources sys-kernel/development-sources sys-kernel/vanilla-sources |

virtual/linux-sources sys-kernel/wolk-sources sys-kernel/gentoo-sources

Seems allright to me. _________________ Best regards,

Hmm... wolk-sources is in the unstable tree. Can you remove the sys-kernel/wolk-sources entry in the virtuals file making the line look like this:
Code: | virtual/linux-sources sys-kernel/gentoo-sources |
It should fix the problem you're experiencing. |
