As much as it kills me to have rpm on my system, it is a dependency of kdeadmin...

So, as I try to upgrade rpm-4.0.4 from r4 to r5, it bombs out towards the end of the configure. Error message is as follows:

Code:

cd . && aclocal
cd . && automake --foreign --include-deps Makefile
cd . && autoconf
configure.in:1164: warning: AC_CONFIG_SUBDIRS: you should use literals
configure.in:20: error: do not use LIBOBJS directly, use AC_LIBOBJ (see section `AC_LIBOBJ vs LIBOBJS'
      If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
make: *** [configure] Error 1

!!! ERROR: app-arch/rpm-4.0.4-r5 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 44, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)

automake is up to date at 1.6.3, and autoconf is at 2.54.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Zach
