|
I am running an old p2 laptop with 32 megs of ram. I've tried other distro's (mainly redhat based) since they were provided by my work. They work OK and slow, but I remember linux going a lot faster when I had my p2 running it, even with 32M ram. So, I opted for Gentoo, which I've heard from a friend of mine. However, I get a nice kernel panic a boot since it seems that it is trying to make a ramdrive too big. Are there any options BESIDES getting more ram? Thanks in advance.
