In kmplayer, while playing avi / dvd or whatever, how on earth do you seek? shouldn't there be a slider somewhere? You can't even hold down that fast forward button, but press it for every 5 seconds , so in an avi, afaik, to get anywhere in it, you need to keep clicking literally hundreds of times (well, ok, you can hold down the -> key, but still).
In a DVD it's not so bad, cause from the Source menu, you can select a chapter, but for a random 3 or 4 hour avi, this is more than frustrating.
This can't possibly be right (can it?),... anybody mind telling me the proper way to seek/fast forward in kmplayer? the help/documentation for both kmplayer and mplayer don't seem to cover it...
I feel like i must be missing something extremely simple |

| Have you tried gmplayer (it comes with mplayer)? It provides a slider bar that you can use to seek anywhere in the movie. |

Use the arrow keys or the page up/down keys.
I know: it's not perfect, but imho kmplayer isn't perfect in many ways! |
