Hey all,
In the past I was able to input chinese using chinput. Then I stopped using chinese input for a while, and now it doesn't work anymore.
I've tried going through again all the steps on this page http://dev.gentoo.org/~liquidx/chinesehowto2/, but whenever i type "LANG="zh_TW" chinput -d" now, i get this message:
| Code: | Chinput Version 3.0.2 -- XIM Server
Distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL)
Basic: Cannot open font -*-*-*-*-*--16-*-*-*-*-*-big5-0 |
and the input device doesn't activate (when i try ctrl+space).
How do I fix this? |

I suggest use scim instead of chinput, since it supports TrueType fonts, whereas chinput does not. _________________ Linux simply sucks.
