emerging kdesdk 3.1 fails:

Quote:

In file included from ktrace.c:36:
/usr/include/bits/libc-lock.h:27:36: linuxthreads/internals.h: No such file or directory

Someone else who expirienced this problem?

Thank you

Daniel

and a solution!!!!

Aparently kmtrace does not compile w/ glibc 2.3*, only with 2.2.

Two options are avaliable:

1. Wait for kde 3.1.1
2. Do the following
Code:
# export DO_NOT_COMPILE=kmtrace
# emerge kdesdk

Hope this helps

If I export does this write permanently to my PATH or is it just temporary ?

It is only temerary, and also only in the current shell.

btw kdesdk-3.1.1 compiles w/o need to trick it

Sorry it took so long to get back, I had an overheating system, and wuz stuck w/ all sorts of compile problems w/ kde-3.1.1. Happy to note it was my flaky system.

Good luck
