|
|
Hi
I'm just switching from Mandrake to Gentoo and I'm having problems getting the drivers for a BT Voyager 105 installed.
I downloaded the alpha nortek ebuild from the eciadsl site and put it in /usr/local/portage/net-dialup/eciadsl/eciadsl-usermode-nortek-0.10_alpha.ebuild
when i try to run ebuild digest with that path ^^ it fails with several
!!! aux_get(): ebuild path for 'net-dialup/eciadsl-nortek-0.10_alpha' not specified
my overlay path is ok so now I have no clue what to try next.
Ebuild from here http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/download/nortek-2021/
TIA
*edit, changed the subject in case people thought I was offering an ebuild whereas there is one but I cant get it to work.
*edit again with link to files |

Try renaming the package directory to eciadsl-usermode-nortek instead of just eciadsl. The directory should have exactly the same name as the ebuild but without the version number in it. _________________ No-one's more important than the earthworm. |

Cheers that fixed it. Too busy atm to really be doing things like switch OS, and directory must = package name just totally escaped me. |
