|
|
I just upgraded xmms to 1.2.7-r19, and now its menus are all screwed up. They show only about half the items; the rest are blank. They work, but you have to know (or guess) which ones to choose.
I use KDE 3.1 and xfree 4.3.0-r1 and have all my i18n settings set to Swedish.
Any ideas why this happens? |

I had exactly the same problem, I downgraded it and there was not the problem anymore. _________________ Nous autres, mordus d'informatique, préférons par-dessus tout passer notre temps à bidouiller nos ordinateurs, plutôt que les utiliser pour faire quelque chose de productif. [Dave Barry] |

Thanks. My problem now is this version seems to be the only one available. I used KPortage to search for xmms, and the only version showing is the broken one. Same thing if I look at the download mirrors on the Gentoo site.
What gives? |

I believe this was a GTK problem. After I ran emerge -u world today all the menus are back (there was an update for GTK 1.2). Problem solved! |
