lspci:
...
0000:01:01.1 Ethernet Contoller: Sun Microsystems Computer. Happy Meal.
...
After I issued net-setup eth0.
I did see the IP address assigned to my computer, 135.252.132.10.
Then I typed: ping 135.252.132.1( the Gateway).
I got no lucky. I can not ping the gateway while my laptop can do.
Thanks,

can you ping anything outside, like google.com?
Also what does "ifconfig" produce? _________________ Woof, Woof! Add "[solved]" to the title! Woof, Woof! |

No. I can't ping any host in the network.
I didn't see any wrong in the report of "ifconfig -a". I will try to post it later.
Thanks for helping me,

You could try "watch-net-all" from the ok-prompt. If network traffic comes by, dot after dot will be written on the screen.
Does your switch show a link ? |
