Would start KDE, and would get well over 50 or so error boxes poping up stating Nautilus couldn't start!! Must've been close to max cpu usage too, mouse would move every 5 or so seconds. I ctl-alt-bckspc killed X, and my PC hung, had to reboot!
Anyway, deleted that user account along with all files (luckily I'd just setup this box, and there was nothing that needed saving) and re-added the user account. KDE as stable as ever again.
What could have possibly happened?? Nautilus?! Last thing I did was install Quantas, then when I logged back in as non-root the troubles started. Very odd! |
