Hello all,
I recently installed a Linksys WPC11 v3 on a Gentoo 1.4 rc2 system using the hostap driver (2002-10-12 version). The card is initially recognized and runs fine. After a certain amount of time though the connection stalls, and appears to lock the entire system. Removing the card frees the system. and reinserting the card restarts the connection (which runs again until another lockup occurs). Specifically, I've noticed when I scp a number of large files (mp3s, etc...) the scp client says "stalled" right as the lockup occurs and occurs almost right away. I've had similar results with the wlan-ng drivers on several versions of redhat. So far none of the documention I've found has any insight. Did linksys slip a bad chipset in on me? Or am I missing some obvious configuration item? Any help is highly appreciated.

Cheers,
Marty Rogers
