hi 
Habe probleme php (v. 4.3.1) zu emergen 
und zwar bricht emerge schon beim configure script ab, und zwar an der folgenden stelle :
checking for fork... no
und er meldet mir
configure: error: pcntl: fork() not supported by this platform
!!! ERROR: dev-php/php-4.3.1 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 262, Exitcode 1
!!! econf failed
Hat jemand ne Idee / nen Ratschlag / nen Tipp ?

EDIT: hier noch ein paar angaben zu meinem System, falls das weiterhilft:
hab gentoo linux von der 1.4rc2-athlon-xp live cd auf meinem System (Athlon XP 2000+, 512MB DDR RAM, 2x 80GB IDE HDD, nvidia GF3Ti500)

Probier einfach 'mal das was die Kollegen hier http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=41279 gemacht haben.
Ich hatte den gleichen Fehler und jetzt scheint es zu gehen.
