|
|
I'm writing in regards to the following forum post: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-322744-highlight-pxe.html I am a long time gentoo user but new user of the gentoo forums so please excuse me if my questions are answered elsewhere. I have a few posts to my topic from myself and others that are no longer applicable to the content. Either an issue has been resolved or parts added to the script. Please advise as to how I should handle these types of issues.
Mod edit: Split from the report thread. --kallamej |

Not quite sure what your after. Could you perhaps explain in more detail what you'd like to achieve? _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.

| Take for example my post starting with "Here is the code I will work into the script:" Posted: Thu Apr 21, 2005 1:49 pm. This code has already made its way into the script making the post not applicable. |

| Perhaps the forums is not the best place to contribute items like my script. Should I perhaps move this to the wiki? Or is there another place more suited to works such as mine? |

In my opinion, some outdated posts between the first post, which should be updated as necessary, and the last few posts is not a problem. You may want to have some kind of changelog in the first post, and perhaps a dedicated support thread. _________________ Please read our FAQ Forum, it answers many of your questions.
