a while ago crypto-sources was dropped from portage. i was using this for IPsec and have since started using gentoo-sources.
but, what is the best way to unmerge crypto-sources now. when i do an 'emerge -C crypto-sources' it complains that it can't find a match.
i know i can just delete the /usr/src/lnux-2.4.19-crypto-r7 directory, but how can i get rid of the entry in the portage database. wherever it may be.
thanks! |

I believe the relevant stuff is in /var/db/pkg; there's a tree there that corresponds to the packages you have installed. A caveat: I'm not sure that there aren't other files related to the package that you might want to delete, but I'm pretty sure it's all in the /var/db/pkg directory. _________________ Man must shape his tools lest they shape him. |
