Looks great, but no 1g_lowmem patch? That's about all this needs :)

Even though some overhead is introduced by using highmem, There will be less problems using highmem. I simply recommend you use highmem, because I don't plan to add 1GB Lowmem.

Edit: By problems, I mean that from time to time kernel changes bust 1GB lowmem, which means I'd either have to wait for con to update it or attempt to fix it myself.

Working fine here, except that i had to patch it a little more to make it compile with a 2000Hz timer, and that cedega segfaults at launch ?! (Like with the latest love for me)

EDIT : I disabled execshield, and now cedega works ;)

Thanks for your work ;)

Well, I'm cutting change_hz. Its really useless.

~predatorfreak

Edit: Also, my change_hz patch is flawed (repeat, FLAWED).
Edit: I'm also adding the badram patch, which can be usefull to get a system up and running even if it has corrupt ram.
Edit: vipernicus, google can explain it better then I can :)

Btw, I thought I'd comment that higher values DO NOT make the kernel faster. They introduce more overhead, which is bad. You'd get less overhead with lower values. But its really ricing to change the hertz value anyway, the overhead that comes from 1000 HZ is small, modern machines won't experiance ANY impact, older machines MIGHT. Basicly, This is why I'm bailing on change_hz, it has no practical use aside from ricing.

Upon request from people, I will tar up my tree and give it out.

Edit: A semi-old tree can be found at www.dcaf-security.org/dark-tree.tar.gz, it's from the last release so it doesn't have alot of the patches in this release.
Edit: Stupid mistakes.

Sure, no problem. Here's a tarball: http://www.dcaf-security.org/dark-tree.tar.gz The tarball is the same name as the former, but the contents have been updated. Also, the badram patch is in there and possibly other patches. Also, why do you want this?
