I'm runing a freebsd server w/ ddclient to update my dyndns.org account. However somethies that doesn't work. I don't know what happens, but when i go to jeter.dyndns.org, it can't find the server. What is happening? Is there a way to find it remotely if i don't know the IP?

hmmm, perhaps write a script to detect and IP change and email you the new IP? shouldnt be too hard.
