| I use a program called yosucker(great prog) that downloads all of ur yahoomail. Ive seen some others that make a pop3 server that u can connect to to download yahoomail. |

| BTW using yosucker u can download the email, and have it use procmail. Then u could use some imap/po3 server to let mozilla get to it(dont think mozilla will read right out of the mailder, but i might be wrong). Advantage is u can then set up squirrellmail to remotely acess ur mail. |

there is also a program along the same basis called fetchyahoo.
I've used both, and I'm not sure which I like better. |

The biggest problem with that is that yosucker requires a number of perl modules, which gentoo doesn't have. So, if anyones up for that challenge? |

Now that comp is totally crashed, but when it's back, maybe I'll finish it. |

I think mozilla should incorporate a preferences that will start mail.yahoo.com or hotmail.com, etc...when you click on a mailto:
link.
i recently switched from XP to gentoo, and this is one of the things I miss from windows (this and a recent docs menu). _________________ join #gentoo-help on irc.freenode.net

Does anyone know if fetchyahoo works with perl 5.8.0? Worked nice yesterday before I upgraded to Gentoo 1.4, but now it just eats my mails |
