check your USE variable, maybe you don't want GNOME in there _________________ aaarggghhhh.

that cannot be correct "emerge -p bitchx" shouldn't put any dependancies ...i emerged it as soon as i bootstraped together with lynx ...it happened in a matter of minutes and it showed no deps ...try again _________________ tea+free software+law=hook

BithcX may be compiled with support for GNOME, gtk, xmms and a few other things, but it does not need them. If your USE variable lists that you want support for these, then they will be listed as dependencies. Check out the USE variable HOW-TO. _________________ aaarggghhhh.
