Hola, estoy intentando instalar una impresora epson 480 sxu usb (es lo unico q me keda ya  ) he seguido las guias doc del sitio gentoo, pero no soy capaz de configurarla, de momento en el paso en el q debo de hacer un cat "hola.txt" > /dev/usb/lp0 no hace nada. La impresora la reconoce el kernel si hag un dmesg el resultado es este:

en linux printing recomiendan el uso de gimp-print como filtro lo he instalado asi como gimp-print-cups pero la impresora se vuelve loca, empieza a sacar paginas en blanco hasta q la desconecto.
desde localhost:631 intento imprimir una pagina de prueba y me dice q no tengo permisos para acceder a ese recurso (habiendo entrado como root) por lo q las pruebas las haago con lp -d epson /etc/fstab
La verdad es q no se q hacer, agradeceria cualquier ayuda. |
