Blackdown-1.4.1 is the solution to all my java woes. It works in mozilla without any tricks. It also works in konqueror and phoenix(not the binary install).
I haven't tried to compile openoffice. But it starts out fine.
I also works good for all my java programming and tomcat.
Yay!
