I did a seasch in these forums but didn't get any results so here goes..
I recently did an emerge -uD world and all my 3d screwensavers in xscreensavers are gone. Anyone know what happened? I did a search and it appears that the xscreensaver-gl package is gone. Anyone know where it went, and how I can get it back? |

Yes it was emerged with the openGL use flag set. It is set in my make.conf and that was the first thing I checked.
Still have the problem though, strange.
I'm going to re-emerge it right now and I will post back if anything has changed. |

Just thought I would mention that I had this problem but solved it by running opengl-update. Somehow the libGL.so link became missing.

Heh, that is probably why I have to keep executing "chmod 777 /dev/nvidia*" on every boot. |

Interesting. I just recently had libGL.so die also. Found this out when trying to compile my game. (gcc couldn't find -lGL, but for some reason it did find -lGLU)
Though I keep upgrading to the new ~x86 and ~amd64 versions of xorg, so that probably has something to do with it. _________________ D is awesome.
