hi there,

i am in a little of a predicament.

i *had* a relisys monitor until it broke. It was 32 days old, and the warrenty lasted 28. It was £125, and was rubbish... (17", OSD). It made a horrid beeping noise and you could see it refreshing.

I have now found a nice LG Flatron 17" Monitor with USB Hub In-Built for 117.95. Maplin are not giving me a refund and i dont know what to do! Maplin are giving me a replacement monitor, (which i dont want) and the LG Flatron is better and cheaper!!

What to do?

Unfortunately, you're probably subject to Maplin's return policies. After 32 days, it sounds like it is up to them to repair/replace, etc. Many stores in the US only allow 14 day returns for a refund/exchange. You might look into their return policy, but I'd not expect to see it allowing a refund after 30+ days. You could try and sell the replacement.
