I've got a princeton VL173 lcd - according the the manual, etc. the monitor should be capable of 1280x1024 resolution. If I set X to give it that resolution, and set the hsync and vsync values to the correct settings for that resolution, X complains and refuses to load the monitor up at that resolution.
Any experience with this?
It's on a Geforce4 Ti4200 with the Nvidia 4191 drivers.

Posting the complete or relevant portions of /etc/X11/XF86Config and /var/log/XFree86.0.log may help to troubleshoot this.
Looking through the log yourself may help pinpoint the problem. If you still can't fix it on your own I would post the above here and hopefully someone can help set things right. |
