i know *i'd* absolutely love this as well as at least 5 other friends. i spose that's not enough to really warrant the effort, but i just thought i'd make the request
if i knew how to implement that into the portage system myself and make it work i'd do it! in fact, i'm reading the portage user guide and manual for this very reason. but i wont be able to do anything bout it for some time to come....
so i think that e17 would kick ass

Well I dropped a post somewhere with some very crude install file for portage, very very crude (using cvs), but well I didn't think e17 was mature enough, hell I even doubt if they are developing it, seems like all effort go into evas, which I much say has a very impressive demo. Can't get a fix on when beta packages will het released. It depends on older version of automake / conf /libtools , so I did some very very crude hacking. But I just wanted to test it after seeing evas, didn't make a terrible convincing effort in porting e17, first want to check how it evolves,
Remember that although evas kicks ass, you need special apps build for it to make use of it, so I'm waiting a while.
